The focus from this day forward in my birdroom as well as on this exclusive Yorkshire Canary site will be Yorkshire Canaries and only Yorkshire Canaries!  I have sold all the Border Fancy Canaries in my room.

It seems that with the various families of Yorkshires in most all colors being produced here annually, there is simply not enough room to devote the time and space necessary to the Border Canary.

Yorkshires need space to allow for exercise and to develop properly.  Yorkshires are really a two-year bird and as such, need all the space that can be provided in order to not only stand correctly but breed and raise chicks without regard to space limitations.  The future show teams need to be fearless on the showbench and stand the way a true Yorkie should stand; erect and with the "stance of a Guardsman!"  Stock management has always been a top priority in my birdroom and that fact is more important today then it ever has been before.
